Long stringy pink/green stuff

Algae problems in swimming pool water.
Green (cloudy) water or slimy pool walls.
Black algae. Mustard algae. Pink or white pool mold.

My Pool: My swimming pool has long hair-like stuff in it. It’s white, pink, green I've looked up many types of molds and algae but i cant figure out what is in it. some of it is fine as hair and some is like rice noodles but feels like a slimy mucus

My swimming pool has long hair-like stuff in it. It’s white, pink, green I've looked up many types of molds and algae but i cant figure out what is in it. some of it is fine as hair and some is like rice noodles but feels like a slimy mucus.

Ok, normal pools are pools of death for anything, algae, bacteria etc. Fish out what you can and then buy some liquid chlorine (un-stabilised) whilst you are there buy a decent test kit, not dip strips and especially a test for CYA stabiliser.
List your test results on here and we will beging the battle to sanitise your pool properly and bring it back into action.
