Pool=Green. Wife=Mad

Its green and cloudy
• Problem: Pool pump shut off and water got to a medium green and very cloudy.
• FC: was above 10 for A couple days as a double shocked it two days in a row. Currently at 3
• TC: Was very high for a couple days again now currently at five.
• pH: 7.8
• TA:180
• CH: total hardness at 500
• CYA: 100
• My pool: 12’x24’ 52” above ground
• Pool chemicals: chlorine
• My pump & filter: sand
• Other info: lots of rain and hot days. Have t been able to use it for weeks

The pool got green and I used a bottle of algicide and double shocked for a couple days. I’ve been running the pump continuously the water did get to a teal color but was still very cloudy. The pH was high I’ve been adjusting it back down but I can’t seem to get the water to clear up and get rid of it’s teal color. If I wait a couple days the algae buildup on the floor and I’m able to vacuum it out. Please help
