I have tried maxi-floc plus and let it settle to the bottom, but I am not able to vacuum to waste. Only certain types of systems allow this but I was not told this when I bought the Maxi-floc. I don't know what to do next to get rid of it. I have a pcq100 cartridge filter and my pool is about 25000 capacity. Can anyone help please.

sense you do not have multiport valve, you vacuum pool & then clean cartridge filter.

If possible, take off the top and make sure the cartridge sticks in place. You can turn on the pump and vacuum. The bad stuff will flow over the top and onto the ground.

This works for some cartridge filters.
