HELP!

I am draining the water from my pool as I type. The sides are nasty green. What is the best way to clean this? I have heard of the 3 B's. Does this work?

Once the pool is drained pressure wash it or have it acid washed. The three Bs stand for bleach, baking soda and borax but that is for keeping your chemistry good once your pool is up and running. In the future you only need to brush, run the filter and shock to kill the algae on the sides.
