any suggestions

We have a serious problem. My husband removed the cover off the pool about 2 weeks ago, without cleaning, at this time the pool water is greenish brown, with mosquitoes having a field day in it, any suggestions at this point?

we moved to house with an inground pool that was black! we had to shock it 5 times, drop it, then vac it. the pool was perfect after that.
