QUESTION - CAN A POOL GET ALGAE FROM BATHINGSUITS - IF SO HOW LONG WOULD IT TAKE TO SHOW UP??

Algae can blow in from algal spores in the air. It does not need to come in from swimsuits, though yellow/mustard algae is sometimes carried in that way from lakes. You can prevent algae growth by using a Free Chlorine (FC) level relative to the Cyanuric Acid (CYA) level. Read the Pool School for more info.
