airblower control problem

Hello,

I am new to the forum and swimming pools. I purchased a property that has a swimming pool.

One of the things that didn't work was the airblower for the spa section of the pool. The pool has an air switch that activates a HydroAir Genesis GB120-2NN-S however i replaced this with a GB50-2VH-S from ebay however i never realised that this unit is controlled via a touch pad control and NOT an airswitch.

What i wanted to know is if anyone has been able to modify this to work through the air switch. All i want is just an on/off function
