Pump motor filter conver
I have one of these - https://excelpoolproducts.com/product/22%e2%80%b3-excel-1-5hp-pump-and-22%e2%80%b3-sand-filter/ The transparent round twist on cover is broken (see right side of photo at the link) I wrote to Excel Pool Products about getting just the lid. No reply yet. Does anyone know where I could get one if necessary?

Looks like any one of the Chinese pump filter combos. Suggest you find a pool shop and take a look at their stock.
I may not give you the answer you want to hear, but I will give an honest opinion of your situation as you decribe it.
