Hayward Salt System tripping Breaker

Postby dmurphy » Mon 27 May, 2013 22:37

My Hayward Salt System is tripping my breaker. The pumps works but the conltroller that operates the pump does not hence not allowing the system to chlorinate. We have replaced the breaker and tightened the connectors and it still trips. Please any suggestions? :(

DMurphy,

First thing I would do is make sure you have good power going into the unit. If that checks out, open up the control box (with the breakers off) and check for any blown fuses on the circuit board. If the fuses are OK, you might have a bad circuit board and will need to replace it.
