PENTAIR HEATER BLOWER ISSUE

Postby vschlueter » Fri 08 Jan, 2016 12:10

Have a 10 yr old Pentair MinimaxNT TSI natural gas heater that has been diagnosed with a bad capacitor. Problem is that Pentair only sells the $10 capacitor attached to its $400 blower circuit and wont give me any information on the capacitor alone ... no specs ; no PN ; no nothin'...

looking for some one who might have some info on the capacitor specs or has one on a blower that they can read to give me any details - ...

Mine is rusted but I think its a 5mfd 370 VAC oval std Run Capacitor ...

thanks for any help

regards

This discussion on the forum confirms the capacitor as 5MFD 370 V.
