Intex sand filter pump leaking

I have an intex sand filter pump that the bearings went bad and had to replace ..well I replaced them and put it all back together . I tried it out yesterday and tried to run water through it but water started leaking at the bottom of the motor housing ? Has anyone had this problem and if so could you please tell me what I need to do to fix the issue? Thanks in advance
