New Safety Cover doesn't cover coping. Should it?

Postby Jerseagal » Mon 21 Nov, 2016 20:11

My mother just had a new impermeable safety cover installed. There is a bit of coping showing (maybe a couple inches or so) at a couple of spots where the pool isn't a perfect oval - it is rectangle with rounded sides on the long ends. Should coping be covered 100% by the safety cover? She keeps insisting it should and bashing the company that did the job - but I really have no idea of the necessity of this. The coping is definitely visible almost in it's entirety by the ladder (in between the handles). Thanks in advance for your help!

Can you post an image of the cover on the pool and the exact spot in dispute
