booster timer baffler

booster timer baffler
Timer (Intermatic) for booster pump was acting erratic so replaced it. Then observed that booster timer was only running (keeping time) when main pump was running, i.e. no power to booster timer except when main timer was ON. Found relay cleverly hidden in freeze protector box. Replaced relay. No difference. Any ideas? Thanks.
