Ive been trying to get this pool clear of sediment however every time I vacuum the bottom about 2 mins into vacuuming it starts blowing back into the pool. Any suggestions? I was told it's because there is no check valve. And According to the filter diagram it's all in tact. Re: Blowback!!!!
Forget the check valve
Looking at the images it seems you have a cartridge filter check it's fitted together and there are no splits in the filters
It may be an idea to get new cartridges

Re: Blowback!!!!
One other thing if it's a DE filter you have to coat the filter with DE through the skimmer
Re: Blowback!!!!
Thank you @Denniswiseman I was told that by my repair guys as well so I think we are going to go that route. In your opinion where should it be installed?

I'll just get new cartridges. They look decent however I haven't tried putting a scoop of DE In the filter. Perhaps just. Half scoop and if it blows back right away I know that there is a big split somewhere

Re: Blowback!!!!
Is your filter a DE? If so you need to put a specific amount of DE in to coat your cartridges
Check your filter pressure before hand and add via your skimmer and see if the pressure increases
Low pressure means there is little resistance
You normally backwash when your filter pressure is 20% to 25% above the clean
