i've noticed that it no longer fully touches/covers the surface and that some part of the suction pad is lifted
it has also started getting stuck in one position. for instance it didn't use to get stuck here

What type of filter do you have and have you cleaned it recently? Makes a huge difference to Krauly!

it's a sand filter.
the sand was replaced in the last 6 months or so

I've been running 3 min backwashes 3 times a week possibly 3 times a week
i don't think the problem is pump related
i take out the basket where the kreepy is connected to and it is barely full
went to the pump and saw if that was clogged. also barely full.

The next place I would look was any pipe joints on the connecting hose.
