Hi,
have just replaced my pump with an identical Hayward SP1611XE161, 975 watt, 4,3 amp
My timer has just gone pop, the one that came with the pool 11 years ago and it will be extremely expensive to replace.
I just want to replace it with a simple timer, the place it sits in is a weather proof cabin.
can I just use an ordinary timer or does it have to be some special one designed to take some massive current?
Thaanks
Stan
which timer or relay for my new pump
