Check ignition control - Jandy LXI250N

Opened the pool, cleaned it, then tried to start the heater. Faulted out, found the troubleshooting guide, fan was bad. Got a fan from an authorized dealer, replaced today, started right up, called for heat, ignited, got hot, and in a few hours raised pool temp 3 degrees. All good so far. Then while i was outside, heard what sounded like banging around by the heater. Then again a few mins later. 3rd time i was waiting to observe it and it shut down. Check ignition control fault. Reset power, started up again, heater burning hot like it should, then banging and shuts down same fault. I’m stumped. Trouble shooting guide and everything i read, that fault is a bad fan or heat doesn’t come on. Not the case for me. HELP!
