Replacing Equipment

Postby r3722287 » Tue 14 Jul, 2020 14:30

Hi, I have a new home + pool with old equipment. Several things are broken according to three different pool companies. I've read some articles that talk about sticking to the same brands to ensure automation works. I'd love to control from my phone but not 100% necessary. I don't have an unlimited budget but do have a good amount of flexibility. What would you change from the list below?

Existing equipment:
1. Broken 2010 polaris pump
2. Broken Pentair MiniMax NT heater
3. Functional but old 1.5 single speed pump for the pool
4. Broken Whisperflo Pump 1HP (quite old)
5. Aqua Logic automation that has a bad board
6. Fully functional Hayward TurboCell TCELL940 fully functional
7. Fully functional Filter/multiport

Here's what I'm looking at buying currently:
1. Polaris PB4-60 booster pump
2. Hayward H250FDN heater
3. Pentair SuperFlo 1.5 HP Variable Speed Pump for the pool
4. Pentair Whisperflo Pump 1 HP for the spa
5. Pentair IntelliCenter
