Salt cell chlorinator to use?

Postby Golfermj23 » Sat 10 Oct, 2020 07:26

New install pool. L Shaped pool - liner.
Roughly 33,000 gallons (16x32x40...4 foot shallow and 8 foot deep)
Installer intends to put a Jandy Trucell in.
Previous pool, we had a Heyward Goldline so that is the only one I’m familiar with.
Hesitant on this Jandy brand.
Can I get any feedback on this cell and whether I should request this to be changed out? Can this cell even hold 33,000 gallons?
Thank you for any feedback.

I could only find a Jandy Truclear which provides 18 gram per hour of chlorine for a 35000 gallon pool
Normally the rated output of a SWCG is for 24/7 at 100% so it's recommended to get one twice the rated size
I'm not sure how this one works out and I suggest you speak/email the manufacturer to find out
