I bought a house in Dec 2019. It has a nice pool and I've had salt water pools before so was comfortable with keeping chemistry in line. There is one device that I don't recognize and there is no info in the folder from the previous owner about it. I googled the phone number on the top of the device and it lead me to https://www.discount-pool-supplies.com/index.php but I can't find anything on the site that looks like this. I tried the "Contact Us" link and it does not seem to work.
Here is a picture. Can someone identify it and fill me in on it? The freeze here in Dallas split the device's housing and I need to decide if I want to replace it or eliminate it. Opinions are welcome.
what is this device?
