Goog suction side pool cleaner

I'm looking for advice on the best pool cleaner to buy. I have a Zodiac MX8 that I do not like. It constantly gets jammed up by small oak leaves and acorns that drop/blow into the pool during the day from my neighbors tree. Can't get rid of the tree so I need a better cleaner. I have a suction side type system, no booster pump either. So bottom line I guess is I'm needing a pool cleaner that works off suction, will pick up small leaves and acorns. Any help of advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
