Oh Italy, I used to import from there quite a bit for jobs in France.
Using the two filters is a good idea, depending on the flow rate of the pumps(s) you may needs only one. You could then use the other just for backwashing as that requires a lot more flow than filtering.
Sorry if you have done this already but a bit more info on your pool and system if you have a minute?
