Hello everyone. I was wondering if anyone can help me identify the name and model of this gray fitting in the picture. There is not name or model on it so makes searching kind of hard.

Also, the bugger is dripping at my chlorinator where the threaded part goes into the chlorinator and I was wondering if it is possible to tighten it, I tried but honestly I wasn't too hard on it as I didn't want to make a drip into a flood?
Thanks in advance.

Re: adapter questions
Its just a threaded mail to female socket of some size depending on your pipe size.
There should be an O ring in the chlorinator fitting, sometimes they go hard so wont seal anymore but are replaceable

I may not give you the answer you want to hear, but I will give an honest opinion of your situation as you decribe it.

Re: adapter questions
It's a plastic socket to male iron connector
Virtually impossible to tighten it as it is solvented into the plastic pipe
Typical of a USA installation, no unions for easy maintenance
The only way is to cut the pipe on the other side of the bend
Unscrew out of the chlorinator
Wrap PTFE round the thread and screw back in
Re-join the pipe with a compression fitting so it can be dismantelled again
