Which way to unscrew salt cell ?

Postby Cifix1 » Mon 22 Aug, 2022 18:51

Hi all. I am now the owner of a pool ! I need to clean the salt cell. It is impossible to unscrew. How do I tell which direction to twist each one ? Do I turn the top one “clockwise” and the bottom one with the cord “counterclockwise” or do I have it backwards ? How do I know? They’re on so tight ! Thanks :).

Using a strap wrench can often help as they dont tend to cause a binding tight spot. From each end looking the back of the nut its righty tighty, lefty loosy.
I may not give you the answer you want to hear, but I will give an honest opinion of your situation as you decribe it.
