Pump conversion

Postby Laroosta » Mon 09 Jan, 2023 12:01

Hello everyone. First time posting here. I have a pump out on my pool water falls... it is a Pentair Challenger 2 HP 115/230V Up Rated Single Speed Pool Pump (also have same pump on filter). It seems that these pumps are no longer available, and I was wondering what pump would be a proper replacement? Thank you.

A variable speed option, save a load in electricity and improved water quality by slower low pressured filtration. High pressure gauge readings are a testament to wasted electricity and worse filtration. Large flow rates are only required for backwashing not filtration.
I may not give you the answer you want to hear, but I will give an honest opinion of your situation as you decribe it.
