I have some cracks in the deck and live in Va. so I am worried about freezing and making it worse. What should I use to fill/fix the cracks?
I have a friend that told me I should seal the dech because the water will harm it. I feel that a sealer would make the pool surface slick?
Any Ideas. PE Teacher

A sealer doesn't have to make anything slick...you are thinking of deck or dry-lock type paints. A sealer is a thin coat of fluid that just keeps water from soaking in.
