Solar Heating - how to start up

Postby rocydocks » Tue 27 Nov, 2007 21:23

We have an inground concrete, indoor pool that has solar heating.
There are no manuals and we need help for the correct steps to turn on the solar heating.
There is 2 shutoff points in the solar pipework and it has its own pump.
Can anyone recommend where to get the best info.

Local Pool shop is useless.

this could be tricky as there are so many different set upts for solar heating.
In principle you need to make sure that the solar heating system is not on when the outside temperature drops, and vice versa.
This is due to the fact of the solar panels will act as a heat sink in colder weather.
Have you more inforamtion about your system, and of it automated? What controls do you have for it?
