If you live in a cold-weather climate you may think about actually covering the Kool-Deck when you winterize the pool. Anthony & Sylvan Pools built one in my backyard in the 1990's and I had Grey Kool-Deck installed. Every winter I covered the pool and the decking with an extra large water bag cover. The pool decking is more than ten years old and I have no issues with it.
