I'm looking to have an automatic pool cover installed on my existing pool in Minneapolis. My research has indicated many pros with just one BIG con. The cost. In order to justify this cost, I'm looking for suggestions on getting the most bang for the buck. Any suggestions on brand, where to buy (wholesale, dealers, direct from manufacturer), installers, etc. would be very helpful.
Some background on my pool. Its 20 x 40 in ground vinyl lined. I have side stair entry.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Shop around. There are many sales on and some closeouts due to the economic crunch.
It's a buyers' market nowadays.

I agree, shop around, look on the internet, go shopping! But be careful make sure there is quality with a cheap price. Check out the warranty and make sure it isn't a company going out of business if there is a warranty.

Thanks so much for the help. I was able to find a great option at a very good price; I'm scheduled to have it installed in April.
