question about your timer, is it not working or is the remote controll for it missing? Have you checked inside your house for another control box against a wall? Alot of homes have both so you need to look and check for this so you can adjust the time your pool needs to be running.
It all depends on the type of equipment you have and if you can manually set the timer at the box by your equipment.
most green pools should not take more than 7 days to become clear depending on type and size of equipment.
