Jets/skimmer questions

Postby oblivionjc » Sat 27 Mar, 2010 10:30

Just moved into a new rental with pool and have maintenance question. The pool has a waterfall that runs smoothly on a timer. But the skimmer and floor jets do not come on and I'm not sure which valves need to be used to run everything. Alot of debris settles on the pool surface and I'm assuming the jets and skimmer should be kicking on to clear some of this, but only the waterfall runs and it doesn't do anything cleaning wise that I can tell. Any suggestions on what to look at? Here are some pics of system. Thanks

In your picture, 5 valves from right to left 1,2,3,4,5
Edit: sorry, LEFT to RIGHT!!!

Try opening 1 and closing 2. That may turn on your in floor cleaner.
Opening 4 may start the skimmer.
try that.
