Spider Gasket Question?

Postby YakMan » Thu 15 Apr, 2010 21:31

I have a Purex Triton filter and 6-way valve. The old gasket was flat on the top (and bottom). I can't seem to find a replacement gasket that is flat on both sides. The top side has a ridge. When I put a ridged gasket in, the valve handle has a large amount of play (loose, it flops up and down).

The pool is only 8 years old and the pool company that installed the pool said they have never seen a flat gasket. :wtf:

Has anyone else had this problem?

Has anyone seen a gasket with a flat top?

Send a picture of the backwash valve and perhaps someone will find the right gasket.

Good luck,

Rob
