What's the make of this skimmer?

We just bought our first house and it came with a 24' ft above ground pool that was left unmaintained for at least 3 years. I'm in the process of getting it back in condition but my question (for now) is about the skimmer.
The only marking I can see on it anywhere is a stylized "W" (Somewhat like the logo for the Washington Nationals), does anyone know what brand this is?
It would be useful for me to know just what I'm doing when I play around with the valve, one of the settings causes a little waterfall to flow above the intake, the other 2 settings are filter and (I think) backwash.
Any help would be cool.

Also, I have zero knowledge about pools, but I'm learning out of necessity.
