pump problems

my pressure gauge reads 10 lbs and i cant manual clean or run a creeper cleaner . 2 things are of concern 1)my motor is 15 years old and i wonder if it cant handle its own under pressure 2)i found some rocks and a little screww driver in the skimmer , i got those out but when the motor is filtering it builds up pressure to 10lbs and all is well , but after 3 minutes you can see bubbles in the filter basket and my pressure will jump from 10 to 5 lbs continuously . i just dont know if my motor dumps on me when it builds pressure or it has more particles stuck in the line

it almost sounds like a broken suction line, check your motor for a plugged impellor or blocked line.
