What to do with an above ground pool and deck?

Postby Pat the Rat » Thu 15 Jun, 2017 15:25

We've had this 18' x 33' above ground pool with heat pump since about 2005 and we basically no longer use it except for maybe a couple times per summer now that our kids have grown. My question is what should we do with it? It has a pretty sizeable deck built up to it, too. Wife just said to give it away, but i think that's stupid. What would we do with the deck then? It's not wood, it's that Veranda stuff that Home Depot sells. Pool will need a liner and I really don't want to sink another $2k into paying someone to install one. We just don't use the pool enough. Any suggestions?

Make it into a pond
Get a pond liner to place inside, a grill for your skimmer and you can use the pump and filter to circulate the water. Remove the heater
