Pets and water
There seems to be no way I can stop my dog dringing from the pool. Is this safe for my dog?
Vet?
Totally not meaning to be snarky but this sounds like a question for your vet.
My gut feeling is "no" since kids and other human type people regularly ingest pool water but I am not a veterinarian and cannot accurately gauge how MUCH pool water your canine might be ingesting.
Good luck!

Pets and water
No it is not safe. The chemicals can harm the dog and his internal organs. You can definetly call the vet to verify this though.

Pets and water
Cats and dogs, the two most common pets, need fresh water and plenty of it. They are very finicky about their water; they like it fresh. The longer the water sits out, the more oxygen it loses. There are also things in water that can cause cancer- just like in humans. Giving a pet filtered water will remove a potentially sickness-causing organism or metal from being ingested. flea treatment
