Need help my pool filter seems to be sucking air and pressure drops to zero and then to normal after a short time running drops to zero again and sucks air..also on control panel LF appears frequently..replaced o ring gaskets on filter basket . Any help would be really appreciated..

Ted, Have you checked your skimmer and the piping connected to it? I know that after a storm with high winds or in the fall when the leaves are falling, the skimmer quickly becomes clogged and has a tendency to suck air around a partially blocked water inlet to the filter. This presents itself with intermintent air and water comming from the filter to the pool outlets.
