water fall producing mixed pressure

My pool is a year old. Recently the pressure in my water fall has produced a wave looking pattern. The pressure seems to be greatest at the ends and in the middle while the rest is barely missing the side of the pool. I tried cleaning the filter and cleaning out the 6 foot plastic spout, but no difference. Any ideas.
