pool too full from rain. easiest way to empty

Can someone please advise the easiest way to empty some of the water in the pool due to heavy rainfall.

Does your pump have a drain setting? Use it to drain your water level down.

Your chemical balance is out now you may as well backwash to required level and recharge your filter and balance chemicals.Good luck

No. The amount of water brought in by rainfall is insignificant compared to the existing water volume. In other words there's too much dilution to change much of anything. . . Chlorine demand maybe but not anything else.

Easiest way to drain pool too full from rain water

Use your backwash to get rid of the excess pool water. Then you may need to adjust chlorine and pH. I've found that rain does affect the pH some.
