My 17 year Raypak pool and spa heater bit the dust.
During that time we rarely heated the entire 15k gallon pool.
Going forward, is there any reason not to replace the Raypak with a spa heater only?
The spa and the pool are connected.

Good question. My heater just died and I would like an answer to this as well. I live in Dallas so the heating a 15K gallon pool isn't going to happen. I do have a spa though that might get turned on every so often. For now I told the pool guy to take the heater out and plumb the pumps with no heater.
