Pool and spa heater question

I have a small in ground pool in Florida with an attached spa. I am now renting the home for vacationers. My heater went out and I have to replace it. I am considering a solar system to keep the water temps in the mid 80's and a small heater to heat the spa to 104 degrees when needed. I am thinking the solar will make the pool tolerable to swim for guests and the spa heater can heat the spa on demand. I have previously had guests crank the pool heater to 104 and forget to turn it off. Any thoughts are appreciated.

Doing my research for pool heaters. Can anyone help a beginner out?
I want to buy a pool heater. As I'm a beginner I'm having information overload with all the info I'm reading on other forums and reviews.
