Pool and spa heater question

Postby HFD1968 » Fri 25 Nov, 2016 16:40

I have a small in ground pool in Florida with an attached spa. I am now renting the home for vacationers. My heater went out and I have to replace it. I am considering a solar system to keep the water temps in the mid 80's and a small heater to heat the spa to 104 degrees when needed. Would a heater like the Haywood Spa heater work ok? http://www.hayward-pool.com/shop/en/poo ... i-ecspa--1

I am thinking the solar will make the pool tolerable to swim for guests and the spa heater can heat the spa on demand. I have previously had guests crank the pool heater to 104 and forget to turn it off. Any thoughts are appreciated.

Hello everyone and mods.
Doing my research for pool heaters. Can anyone help a beginner out?
I want to buy a pool heater. As I'm a beginner I'm having information overload with all the info I'm reading on other forums and reviews.
Can you please tell me which pool heater is good to buy in this review?
Pool heater/Solar powered
Thank you.
