pool slime

i have an inflatable abouve groud pool about 2500 gallons. It wasn't used at all last week and was covered with the pump running. Now there is a thin clear slimy film on the inside walls. The water seems a little cloudy but not enough to seem woried about. I added an algicide last night along with testing the water. What can I do to get that slim off of the side of the walls and is the water safe to swim in, in the present condition?
