Hi all,
New to this forum, and really looking forward to tap into some knowledge!
I am thinking of installing a heat pump and I am at the beginning of the process. Maybe a bit naive but looking at having a heated pool but with little impact of the noise around the pool.
My question is can I install the heat pump away from the pool, and how far away can I install it from the pool? Is it better to invest in a super quiet heat pump close to the pool or install a heat pump away from the pool (around 15-20m away) and live with losses?
Thanks in advance for the input!

Ans, A super quiet one near the pool. A variable speed one will save money and be quieter more of the time. If you have to put it further away, make sure you insulate the pipes well.
