First I received an AO error indicating the blower vacuum switch is faulty or the blower.
The capacitor was bad, replaced that.
Replaced the blower vacuum switch.
Heater fires up still then gets an AO.
Took the cover off and noticed the port on the blower motor gets so hot it kinda melts the vavcc tube that leads to the blower switch.
Cut off the bad part and hooked it up.
Running fine for about 5 minutes, but then the unit made like a high rev sound, and still with the top cover off the heater I could see the starting of blue flames coming out the vent.
Turned off the heater and the gas and that’s where I’m at.
Hayward tech support is absolutely horrible, worse customer service. And all the pool guys will just want to sell me a new heater.
Any suggestions where to start?
Thanks

I would be inclined to talk to a gas service engineer
Most gas boilers/furnaces operate on the same principles
