Failure to ignite Hayward H250

Postby frank1369 » Tue 14 Sep, 2021 17:33

I have a Hayward H250FDN heater. It was not used for about 5 months. When I went to start the heater everything seemed to be functioning except it would not ignite. I tried to use the manual but, even though it is my model, it talks about restarting the pilot light via a "Click-lite" which my heater does not have. Anyone have any idea what to do?

The best thing is to get a gas service engineer to check it out and explain the light up procedure as looking at YouTube videos it seems automatic
