Getting ready for new pool heater

Postby danieldcc » Thu 30 Dec, 2021 14:16

I need a new pool heater in a house I recently bought. I want to bring things up to code also and remove old shed. Can I build a wooden shed to basically cover the pool equipment and have a retractable roof that I take off when runing the pool heater? I want as small as possible. I was thinking of something like those wooden garbage enclosures style.
It will be propane heater, thinking 200k btu

Why don't you go for a heat pump in the open air
A propane heater depending on what type needs flueing, balanced or conventional open flue and wood isn't good for housing

I'm in Toronto Canada. We mostly use natural gas heater. The gas line is already there too and I have a new 1hp pump
