Bestway flowclear heater

Postby Beeson1987 » Wed 11 May, 2022 09:00

Hi, ive had my pool up and running last year and connected up again now. But looking on the beatway website it says my heater is the wrong way round. Could any body clarify for me please, connections are:
From pool, to filter/pump, then to the heater then to pool.
Now on the heater theres an arrow, i assume this should be going with the flow of water, but bestway say the opposite.

I would assume from pool, to filter/pump, then to the heater then to pool is correct
Normally an arrow indicates direction of flow
What does the manual say

If you plumb it the wrong way round does it get cooler?
If there isnt a non return valve built in does it actually matter?
I may not give you the answer you want to hear, but I will give an honest opinion of your situation as you decribe it.

This is what im trying to find out from bestway. Im going to leave it as ive got it i think, with the heater after the filter, with the arrow in direction of flow. I think they just copy and paste an answer at bestway lol.

Did you find out which way it's suppose to go, because it does say on there website the instructions are wrong, I've just got the heater and I'm not 100% which way to put it now,

If the instructions are wrong then go with Beeson1987 as the consensus of opinion is from pool to filter/pump, then to the heater and then to pool.
Beeson1987 hasn't come back to say any different
It's disgraceful that Bestway hasn't made an ammendment to the instructions
