Heat pump size ?

Postby mak » Sun 21 Feb, 2010 17:48

I have a pool/spa combo, I only use my heat pump for heating the spa it is a porpoise p-70
I think it's 70,000 btu it takes a long time to heat the spa
how much faster would a 130,000 btu heat pump heat the spa
I'm an HVAC contractor and can get a heat pump wholesale and install it myself but it's still a lot of money and I just don't know if it's worth it
what do you think

a BTU is a BTU - not much else to say.
