Leak in Pool Heater

I have a pin hole size leak in the heat exchanger of Jandy Lite 2. I read on the forum people using Fix A Leak product. What is the possibility of using that for fixing leak in heat exchanger. Any other idea will be welcomed.

Not sure if you got it fixed. Sorry for the delay. Heat exchangers have small tubing, just make sure you dont clog the tubing that the water is supposed to go through. That would cause even more problems. If you need anything, you can go to a site called pool store and they might be able to help you.
