I recently built a pool. I'm a little bit confuse, How often do I need to test my pool water?

It depends on how quickly the parameters change. Chlorine is consumed daily so until you get a handle on its consumption rate you can test it every day. Then you can space out testing if the parameters are stable given the amount of chlorine you are regularly adding.

pH changes next most quickly. TA changes more slowly and CH and CYA also slowly change unless you are using stabilized chlorine in which case CYA increases over time or Cal-Hypo where CH increases over time.
